Michael Neal, 50, has been jailed for eighteen years for trying to infect victims with HIV. He has been convicted twice for rape and eight times for attempted infection of HIV.

Neal had ‘conversion parties’ in which unprotected sex took place without revealing he had the disease. He continued this unsafe practice up until his arrest despite several warnings from authorities.

“You sought to be your own version of the grim reaper,” stated Judge Parsons. He added that ‘a clear message needed to be sent to the community.” Neal showed no remorse for his crime.
