Topless Girl Warnings in Sydney

Sydney’s beaches could see the end of topless bathers, or the beaches could have signs erected as to whether or not topless bathing is allowed, if Reverend Fred Nile, president of the minor Christian Democratic Party, has his way.

Reverend Nile will put forward a bill to parliament calling for women to cover up, or beaches to display signs. Nile has said, “The law should be clear, it must say: ’exposure of women’s breasts on beaches will be prohibited.'”

At present, people can be fined for being naked on a non-nudist beach, and local councils do not consider topless women as naked. Mayor Sally Betts has said she is disgusted of the idea as there are more pressing issues to be discussed.

The Shawshank Redemption

The Shawshank Redemption 1994

Shawshank

Who would ever imagine that a two and a half hour long film about a prison would manage to endure as long as it has? Nevertheless, The Shawshank Redemption has assumed the mantle in many people’s mind of being a modern classic, and helped make prison, I dunno, cool again? After a bare bones release, Warner Brothers released a two-disc special edition a couple of years ago, and is now going back to the well in high definition. Would the sisters approve of this release?

Thousands of Tubes of Fake Colgate Recalled

UK retail giants Sainsbury’s and Boots have announced a massive recall of fake Colgate toothpaste. The two stores have contacted customers personally to let them know, and posted notices in all storefront windows.

The toothpaste was sold between the 28th of November and the 5th of December. Though Sainsbury’s says there is no harm in the toothpaste, fake Colgate sold in the US last year was contaminated with a chemical found in antifreeze.

A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “We believed the supplier we bought the toothpaste from was reputable, and we are carrying out a full investigation into how this occurred so that we can prevent it from happening again.”

Former Drug Cop Busts Crooked Cops on New Reality TV Show

KopBusters, a group of former cops have begun to fight back against crooked cops by setting them up and filming illegal busts. The group rented a house in Odessa TX and set up a grow room with two Christmas trees.

Within 24 hours the Odessa police had a search warrant and busted into the house to search for illegal drugs. The KopBuster attorney was waiting for them along with dozens of cameras streaming live video to a nearby mobile recording van.

KopBuster are now waiting to see what the reason was on the search warrant, which the police refused to turn over, authorizing such a warrant. It is thought illegal FLIR cameras were used to locate the grow lights.
